Strategic Practice Areas 2026-2035 | Stephen Capital Partners
As we navigate the complex landscape of the late 2020s and look toward the mid-2030s, the intersection of law, public policy, and community health has never been more critical. At Stephen Capital Partners (SCP), we recognize that the challenges facing governments, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations require more than just theoretical advice. They require practical, measurable solutions grounded in implementation.
Purpose Statement
The Government Relations, Policy & Research Practice exists to help governments, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and mission-driven organizations transform complex public policy challenges into practical, measurable solutions. Our work combines legal analysis, public health, strategic planning, workforce development, research, grant development, and program implementation to improve community outcomes.
Rather than serving as a traditional policy think tank, Stephen Capital Partners provides applied consulting and technical assistance that helps organizations move from policy ideas to implementation. Below are our ten strategic practice areas defining our work through 2035.
1. Criminal Justice & Public Health
Strategic Focus: Improving public health outcomes through criminal justice reform and evidence-based policy.
In the next decade, the "tough vs. soft" on crime debate is evolving into a focus on "effective and fair." We believe that public safety and public health are two sides of the same coin. By integrating behavioral health with justice systems, we can reduce recidivism and improve community vitality. This aligns with our ongoing research on how to integrate public health and criminal justice reform.
